French Blåkulla is a Black Metal band, primarily a one-man project led by Surtr Blackmoon Emperor, who handles vocals and all instruments.

Their music is described as fast, incisive Black Metal in a Nordic style, with occult, mystic, and pagan themes, drawing inspiration from the legendary island of Blåkulla, associated with witches’ Sabbaths in folklore.

The second album from 2015 has since been remixed and remastered, and with a bonus track, it is now slated for release as a double LP.

Eagerly awaited by fans, Blåkulla will hopefully return to the studio soon after this release to record a new album. Further concerts by the band are also not ruled out.
