There aren’t many undiscovered gems left in the German black metal underground, but one unpolished diamond is undoubtedly the debut and only album by Wolfszorn from Baden-Württemberg.
When the CD was released 20 years ago, only a few copies circulated, and since then, the first edition has become a sought-after collector’s item.
Band founder, guitarist, and vocalist Skoll recorded nothing further afterward but was dissatisfied with the unfortunate fate of his debut album.
For years, he considered a re-release, with the songs to be remixed and re-recorded by a new vocalist.
Now, 20 years after the original release of “Furchtlos und Treu”, the time has come!
The album is being remixed and remastered, and none other than Wolf from Der Tod und die Landsknechte will re-record the vocals!
A first glimpse of this collaboration is offered by the re-recorded version of the song “Für Volk und Land.”
The re-release of “Furchtlos und Treu” will be available not only on CD but also on LP, though an exact release date has not yet been confirmed.
